MSI to bring out 3D notebook in mid-September?

Notebook makers’ parts suppliers say Taiwan’s MSI will launch a 3D notebook in mid-September. It will use polarized glasses and cost less than $934, Digitimes reported. The notebook will use Intel’s integrated GPU and convert 2D images to 3D with Dynamic Digital Depth’s (DDD’s) TriDef 3D software.

MSI will build the notebook in-house. It, together with Acer, LG, Fujitsu and Lenovo will use the same polarized 3D technology for their 3D notebooks, while ASUS and Toshiba will use the more expensive, hardware-based NVIDIA 3D Vision technology.
